The Annual Meeting and Elections of AVDA
Active Members was held on Monday, April 28, 2014 in conjunction with
the AVDA Annual Conference held at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess in
Scottsdale AZ. Paula Brown of Midwest Veterinary Supply was elected to
serve a two year term as President-Elect. Meryl Weinstein of Henry
Schein Animal Health was elected to serve a three year term as Active

been formed through a collaboration of leading scientists and
commercialization experts to create new veterinary drugs and products
for companion and production animals.
The Provetis leadership team includes: Brad
Butler, industry veteran and CEO of Creative Science, also based in St.
Louis; Kevin McDonnell and Hosein Hojabri, PhD, of TetraGenx in Montreal
where Provetis research and development will be hosted; and Radek
Romanowski, DVM, a global product development expert and founder of
imRex and Vetrex animal health companies based in Ontario, Canada.
